Tuesday morning traffic at the Kapitan Andreevo and Lesovo border crossing points (BCPs) is heavy at the exit for trucks, the Border Police Directorate General reported on its website at 6 am. Temporarily, crossing through the Malko Tarnovo checkpoint is carried out on one route due to reconstruction of the checkpoint.

Traffic is normal at all border crossing points with North Macedonia and Serbia.

At the border with Greece, due to the increased interest in travelling on the Rudozem - Xanthi route, the Border Police remind that construction works are taking place on the Greek side of the road. The Greek authorities have placed signs indicating that the area is a construction site and no outsiders are allowed to enter.

Only cars and vans up to 3.5 tonnes are allowed to pass through the border crossings in the area of Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.

At the border with Romania, the works on the overhaul of the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse are continuing, which is why a temporary traffic organization has been introduced, with traffic being carried out in one lane with a pass-through regime and regulated by employees of the contractor, the Border Police added.
