Border Police reported heavy traffic for freight vehicles exiting Bulgaria through the Kapitan Andreevo and Lesovo border control checkpoints with Turkiye on Friday morning. The data was valid as at 6 a.m.

Another border crossing with Turkiye, Malko Tarnovo, has only one lane open due to reconstruction works.

At the border with Greece, there is construction work on the Greek side of the road connecting Rudozem and Xhanti. The Makaza, Zlagograd, and Ivaylovgrad border checkpoints are closed to vehicles heavier than 3.5 tonnes.

At the border with Romania, repairs works at the Danube Bridge checkpoint continue. Traffic is regulated, and vehicles can use one lane only.

Traffic is normal at the border crossings with Serbia and the Republic of North Macedonia.
