Traffic through Lesovo and Kapitan Andreevo checkpoints with the Republic of Turkiye is very heavy, said the Border Police on its website. The Information is valid as of 6 a.m.

Temporarily, the passage through the Malko Tarnovo checkpoint will be carried out on one lane due to reconstruction work. 

Traffic at border checkpoints with the Republic of North Macedonia and Serbia is normal.

Due to the increased interest in travelling through the Rudozem - Xanthi checkpoint, the Border Police reported that construction works are being carried out on the Greek side of the road. The Greek authorities have erected signs indicating that the area is a construction site and no outsiders are allowed on the site.

A temporary traffic organization has been introduced on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge border checkpoint with Romania near Ruse. Due to repairs on the route, traffic is directed in one lane and regulated by employees of the contractor company.

Only passenger cars and minibuses up to 3.5 tonnes are allowed to pass through the border checkpoints in the Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad regions.
