Twelve illegal migrants were caught in the Turkish district of Edirne, bordering Bulgaria, the Anadolu Agency reported.
Security forces continue regular inspections and checks in the city of Edirne and in the area to prevent illegal migration.
Officials recently detained 12 illegal migrants, citizens of Pakistan and Syria.
They have been sent to the Edirne District Migration Management Directorate.
