site.btaRomanian Programme Supports Cheaper Seaside Hotel Stay in Off-season until September 20
Romanian tourists can stay in hotels in Black Sea resorts in their country until September 30, at prices of RON 38 (15 BGN) per night per person. The measure is part of the Coastline for All (Litoralul Pentru Tous) social programme which started a few years ago and aims to support those who want a vacation on the Black Sea, but cannot afford it during the active season.
The Federation of Romanian Tourism Employers said that every year a number of two, three and four star hotels from all resorts on the Romanian coast join this programme, and travel packages are up to 70% cheaper.
A night per person in a two-star hotel in Eforie Nord for example will cost RON 38 (15 BGN). In the resort of Mamaia, the prices for a person's stay in a three-star hotel start from RON 77 (BGN 31). For those who prefer all inclusive packages, such are available at prices starting from RON 210 (BGN 84) per person per night in a double room in a 3-star hotel in the Venus resort.
Organizers recommend that tourists who want to take advantage of these special offers make reservations because vacancies are limited and sell out quickly. Reservations can be made directly at the hotel, but also through travel agencies.
The Coastline for All programme is being held for the 45th time and is the only social programme in Romania fully supported by the business community, Agerpress noted.
