The Crisis Management Center (CMC) in North Macedonia commented on a recent snake bite incident in Skopje, following a similar case in Ohrid on Wednesday. With rising temperatures, snake sightings in populated areas have increased.
The CMC highlighted the increased fire risk due to the summer heat and noted that firefighters would not be available for secondary services, such as snake removal or rescuing cats from trees.
