Ivan Peshev is 38 years old. He has a university degree in Economics of Trade. Municipal councillor in Sofia since 2019, the press centre of the Bulgarian Socialist Party said.

Peshev is Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Children, Youth and Sport in the Sofia Municipal Council in the period 2019-2023. In the current Council, he is Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Economy, Property and Digital Transformation. Ivan Peshev is Deputy Chairman of the City Council of the BSP-Sofia.
