site.btaSeventh Western Balkans Summit to Be Held in Sofia

The seventh Western Balkans Summit, organized by the New Direction Foundation, will be held in Sofia on Saturday. The event will bring together experts, public figures, and politicians to discuss the future of the Western Balkans, examining ongoing developments, their connection to global processes, and the impact of regional conflicts. 

The conference will be hosted at the National Palace of Culture by the Foundation's Vice President and former MEP Angel Dzhambazki, alongside Ivaylo Valchev, a Bulgarian MEP and member of the Bureau of the European Conservatives and Reformists Group.

"Historically and culturally, the Western Balkans belong to the European civilization, the question is how to make this happen in a political way, as well," Dzhambazki said, addressing the sixth Western Balkans Summit in December 2023.
