Bulgaria’s acting Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov is paying a working visit to The Hague to participate in the 18th meeting of the Consultative Forum of the Prosecutors General and Directors of Public Prosecutions of the EU Member States. The meeting will be held at the Eurojust headquarters and will be opened by Eurojust President Ladislav Hamran.

This year's meeting will focus on international cooperation in tracking and confiscating criminal assets. Discussions will also cover the EU's joint initiative to fight organized crime and the potential for transferring criminal proceedings between Member States. The forum's agenda includes a discussion on the challenges of fighting intellectual property crimes committed in cyberspace, particularly those involving artificial intelligence.

The Consultative Forum operates under Eurojust, which aims to coordinate investigations, prosecutions, and cooperation among Member States’ authorities in tackling serious cross-border and organized crime.
