site.btaPrime Minister to Propose Denitsa Sacheva for Labour Minister

December 1 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov told journalists on Sunday that on Tuesday he will propose Deputy Education and Science Minister Denitsa Sacheva to become minister of labour and social policy.

The news comes two days after Borissov asked for and accepted the resignation of Bisser Petkov as Minister of Labour and Social Policy.

Commenting on the support which Petkov receives from disabled children's mothers who have been campaigning for better social conditions for their families, the Prime Minister said: "I have returned his resignation five times. On Friday, I sent for him and I told him that no one wants to work with him in the cabinet. If the mothers like him so much, they should wait until they come to power and then they can install him as minister."
