Paris was transformed during the Olympic Games, Kamelia Triboulin-Konaktchieva, a Bulgarian-born Parisian, told BTA. She runs the schools established and operating via the Bulgarian - European Language Association in the French capital. She describes the organization of the Summer Games as "wonderful" and stresses that "even the transportation system survived". "People were smiling and talking to each other in a way they never had before in Paris," she added.
Kamelia Triboulin said that she was excited about the performance of the Bulgarian rhythmic gymnastics group and had the opportunity to be at the final and watch them in person. All the time she was waving the Bulgarian national flag to support them.
Bulgaria placed fourth in Saturday's group all-around final at the rhythmic gymnastics tournament of the Paris Games.
Kamelia Konaktchieva - Triboulin chose to spend her summer vacation in the French capital to be part of the events accompanying the Olympic Games.
