site.btaBulgarian Culture Week Kicks Off in Buenos Aires

The Week of Bulgarian Culture in Argentina started on May 20  with the presentation of an exhibition of artistic renderings of heroic moments in Bulgarian history.

The exposition, featuring paintings by Bulgarian artists, is arranged in the building of the Cultural House of Buenos Aires.

After the opening of the exhibition, the film "Looking for Polychron" by journalist Maria Cherneva, cameraman Anna Andreeva, and director Ara Hugasyan, will be screened to the Bulgarian and Argentine audience.

The Week of Bulgarian Culture in Argentina is part of the events with which the Bulgarian community and the descendants of Bulgarians in Argentina celebrate May 24 - the Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian alphabet, education and culture. The cultural initiative is organized by the Embassy of Bulgaria in Argentina, together with the Argentine-Bulgarian Foundation in Buenos Aires.
