A trial over a January assault against Hristian Pendikov, who served as the secretary of the now-deregistered King Boris III Association in Ohrid, was adjourned after the Ohrid Primary Court merged the cases against the two defendants - Ilija Spaseski and Borce Angelov. The next sitting is scheduled for December 1.

At the request of the prosecution service, the case against Ilija Spaseski was joined with the case against Borce Angelov, who was identified as the second participant in the assault. Angelov is indicted for inflicting serious bodily harm on Pendikov in complicity with Spaseski. Angelov will be represented in court by Spaseski's lawyer, Dimitria Tsoboski, who made a request for a postponement of the hearing to review new evidence related to Angelov.

Pendikov was attacked and beaten up in Ohrid on January 19. The following day, he was flown to Bulgaria for treatment with a Falcon government aircraft. Surveillance camera footage, viewed at an earlier court sitting, showed two people beating Pendikov.
