Pianist Ivan Melon Louise and saxophone player Ariel Bringuez will stage a concert titled Alma en Cuba at Sofia Live Club on October 27, the organizers from Jazz Plus said.

Alma en Cuba is a curated selection of timeless songs which combine contemporary elements with traditional lyrical music from Cuba.

Alma en Cuba is an organic symbiosis of two of the most expressive and talented musicians who have left their mark on the contemporary jazz scene: pianist Ivan Melon Lewis, a Latin Grammy Award winner, and saxophone player Ariel Bringuez, who presented his project Nostalgia Cubana in Sofia a year ago, Jazz Plus said.

The organizers add that both musicians promise to connect the Bulgarian audience with the past, present, and future through Cuban music styles blended with jazz and European classical music.
