site.btaPresident Radev to Attend Commemoration of 146th Anniversary of Shipka Epopee

On August 19, President Rumen Radev will participate in the commemoration of the 146th anniversary of the Battle of the Shipka Pass, also known as the Shipka Epopee, during the 1877-78 Russo-Turkish War, Radev's press secretariat said.

He will receive the formation of the representative companies of the National Guard, after which a funeral prayer will be held.  

Later, the head of State will deliver a speech and pay tribute to the memory of those who died for the liberation of Bulgaria.
