site.btaLudogorets Loses to Olimpija Ljubljana, Drops Out of Champions League

Bulgarian champions Ludogorets lost 1-2 to Olimpija Ljubljana in a second match of the second qualifying round of the Champions League and have dropped out of the tournament. The team had a chance to send the match to extra time but team captain Kiril Despodov missed a penalty in the 11th minute of the added time.

Olimpija Ljubljana advances to the third qualifying round where it will meet Galatasaray, while Ludogorets will fall into the Europa League tournament.
