site.bta13 Illegal Migrants Detained on Motorway at Sofia City Limits

Police intercepted illegal migrants on Trakia motorway, at the entrance to the capital, the Sofia Interior Ministry Directorate said Tuesday.

Thirteen men in all were detained, according to initial information from Syria. The group, found in a car, were detained by the authorities after brief insubordination.

Further detention action is ongoing on the motorway. The police have no information that their activity is hindering traffic.
