A total of 3,772 tests have identified a total of 300 new coronavirus cases across Bulgaria on Tuesday. The test positivity rate stands at 7.9%, according to data posted on coronavirus.bg.

Eight patients with confirmed coronavirus infections have died during the day.

To date, there are 330 hospitalized people diagnosed with COVID-19, of whom 34 are in intensive care. There were 89 new hospital admissions on Tuesday. A total of 317 people have recovered from the disease, bringing the total number of recoveries since the pandemic started to 1,263,404. 

The active COVID-19 cases were reported to be 2,953.
