A second Bulgarian citizen was reported missing after the devastating earthquakes which shattered Turkiye on Monday, the Interior Ministry in Sofia said on Tuesday.

The man was apparently in the southern city of Antakya when the disaster struck.

The first report about a missing Bulgarian citizen in Turkiye came on Monday evening and referred to a man in Iskenderun.

The Bulgarian Embassy in Ankara notified the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority about the second man. The Turkish side could not provide details, the Interior Ministry said.
