Deputy PM Kuneva to Pay Working Visit to Vienna

Sofia, December 7 (BTA) - Deputy Prime Minister for European Policies Coordination and Institutional Affairs Meglena Kuneva is leaving on a working visit to Vienna where she will take part in the fourth session of the Assembly of Parties of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA), the Government information service said Monday.

The IACA is an international organization and a post-secondary educational institution, established under international law. IACA was initiated by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF), and the Republic of Austria.

In her capacity as National Coordinator on Anti-corruption practices, on Tuesday Kuneva will sign a Memorandum of Agreement between the National Anti-corruption Policy Council and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime to raise awareness on the importance of anti-corruption education and training.

Kuneva is scheduled to meet Ambassador Madina Jarbussynova, the OSCE Special Representative and Co-ordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings.
