Hospitality Association Voices Discontent over Extensive Inspections in Seaside Resorts

Sofia, July 17 (BTA) - In a statement, released on Sunday, an association of establishments from the hospitality industry urged that excessive administrative pressure and inspections in Black Sea resorts should stop.

The Association demands that the information about the security measures should reflect the objective situation and not create the impression of a semi-military state which drives away tourists and misrepresents reality.

Against the backdrop of a host of problems before the tourism industry, created by the geopolitical situation and the lack of skilled labour, instead of helping the tourism industry, the Bulgarian authorities are aggravating the conditions for business, the statement reads.
