Barekov Submits Alert against President, Businessman with Prosecution Office

Sofia, January 20 (BTA) - MEP Nikolai Barekov has submitted an alert against outgoing President Rosen Plevneliev and businessman Ivo Prokopiev with the Prosecution Office.

Barekov told journalists on Friday that the two have allegedly set up an organized criminal group performing fraud through offshore companies. At least 10 people were involved including the wives of Plevneliev and Prokopiev, said journalist-turned-politician Barekov.
