WWF Urges Caretaker Government to Protect Pirin, Vitosha and Rila Mountains

Sofia, January 29 (BTA) - The international environmental organization WWF said on Sunday that has urged the caretaker government to make efforts to protect the mountains of Pirin, Vitosha and Rila.

A concrete step in that direction will be to revise of the management plans of national and nature parks and remove sections that allow development in these areas and the cutting of age old forests in order to serve corporate interests.
