The Rila Hotel in Borovets resort is expanding its wellness and relaxation programme, combining first-class spa services, thermal area with several saunas, steam and Turkish baths, an indoor pool and jacuzzies, the hotel management told BTA.
The hotel’s spa centre offers a variety of rejuvenation and relaxation treatments, massages by expert therapists, and a fitness and relaxation area.
The hotel recently opened a new children’s pool with water temperature from 32C to 34C, and depth from 0.30 m to 0.50 m. These dimensions allow for plenty of space for free movement and play, as the varying depths make it easier for children to adapt to the water. Two fountain-style water features have been added to the pool, designed specifically for children’s entertainment. The idea came directly from the feedback and preferences of the hotel’s youngest guests.
The new children's pool is equipped with a salt electrolysis system - a modern technology for maintaining water cleanliness and hygiene without the use of traditional chlorine.
The salt content is below the taste threshold, the water is soft, pleasant to the touch, and does not irritate the skin or eyes, which is particularly important for children’s sensitive skin, the management said. The system ensures a high hygiene standard in all areas of the pool.
With the addition of the children’s pool, the Rila Hotel reinforces its position as a family vacation destination.
