Sofia, August 13 (BTA) - The property of two persons convicted for drugs production and trading worth nearly 900,000 leva has been confiscated in favour of the State, on a court petition of the Illegal Assets Forfeiture Commission, the Commission said on Wednesday.

Property worth 630,000 leva has been forfeited from Ivan Terziev, in pursuance of a final decision of the Sliven, Southern Bulgaria, District Court. The property includes several vehicles, company shares, cash in bank accounts. Terziev was caught at the start of 2008 with about six kilos of heroin. A subsequent search in his home in the village of Byala, near Sliven, found 60 kilos of heroin and amphetamines hidden in a machine for nut roasting.

The other forfeited property, worth nearly 255,000 leva and including two flats in Sofia and cash, is of Emil Dikovski from Byala Slatina, Northern Bulgaria. Dikovski was detained in 2010 after narcotic substances were found in his car and home during a police raid.
