BULSTAT Register Becomes Fully Electronic in 2016
Sofia, December 28 (BTA) - The BULSTAT register becomes fully electronic starting next year, said here on Monday the Registry Agency's head Elena Markova.
BULSTAT is a national administrative register providing identification for all legal and other entities active in Bulgaria.
Markova explained that the registration process will become fully electronic for the first time. This allows everyone who is subject to registration to submit their documents from a computer and verify their identity using an electronic signature.
BULSTAT inquiries can also be made completely electronically, however, personal data will be removed. The register's new functionalities will start working after the new law amendments come into force.
The procedure for participants in public procurements will be facilitated significantly. In addition to that, the procuring authorities can use the BULSTAT registry to look up all participants in the procedure. The new system provides a personal electronic file to everyone who is registered with BULSTAT.
