site.btaVice President Iotova to Visit Czech Republic, Slovakia, Serbia on Occasion of Slav Letters Day

Sofia, May 17 (BTA) - Between May 17 and 20, Vice President Iliana Iotova will visit the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Serbia on the occasion of the Day of Bulgarian Education and Culture and of Slav Letters, May 24.

On Iotova's programme are meetings with representatives of the Czech parliament and Senate President Milan Stech, and a visit to the Sts Cyril and Methodius Cathedral Church and the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Prague.

On May 19, the Bulgarian Vice President will be in Velehrad and Mikulcice, the Czech Republic, to take part in the traditional May 24 celebrations of Bulgarians from all across Europe. Later in the day she will visit Nitra, Slovakia.

On May 20, Iotova will visit Belgrade and the place where the students of Sts Cyril and Methodius were welcomed and invited to work for the enlightenment in Bulgaria.
