site.btaIrish-Bulgarian Duo Keltora to Perform in Varna, Gabrovo, Nessebar

A charity concert entitled The music of Bulgaria and Ireland in One will be held in Nessebar on December 23, the organizers said on Monday.

The concert will feature a performance from the Irish-Bulgarian duo Keltora, consisting of Irishman Thomas Keating and Bulgarian Lora Panosyan. The concert will be part of Keltora's Bulgarian tour in 2024, which includes shows in Varna (December 19) and Gabrovo (December 21).

The duo will present popular Bulgarian folk melodies, woven together with Celtic rhythms and sounds, as well as compositions of their own in the same genre. They will play a variety of instruments, including different types of flutes, Irish bagpipes, the piano, fiddle, as well as handpan and harp.

At the end of January 2025, the duo will continue their tour with stage performances in Ireland.
