From August, Varna Airport will offer flights to four new destinations, said the press centre of the operator Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD on Monday.
There will be flights from and to Frankfurt-Hahn (Germany) and Prague (Czech Republic) twice a week, while three flights weekly will be operated between Burgas - Tel Aviv (Israel) and Burgas - Vienna (Austria).
The low-cost carrier Wizz Air will base a second plane at Varna Airport, which will operate the regular flights to the new destinations. Tickets for the new destinations are available on the airline's website.
In addition, the carrier will double the frequency of flights to Berlin, Memmingen and Dortmund (Germany), as well as to Charleroi (Belgium). "We believe that our strong cooperation with Wizz Air will contribute to the further growth of our airports," said Dr Frank Quante, CEO of Fraport.
