The caretaker government passed a decision appointing Krassimira Brumcheva, head of the Water Management Directorates in the Environment and Water Ministry, as the new chairperson of the Commission on the Protection of the Black Sea against Pollution, whose chairmanship is currently held by Bulgaria. Bulgaria's year-long chairmanship of the Commission ends this month. Georgia will be the next rotating chair of the Commission.
