200 nature lovers and mountaineers from Serbia, Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia participated at the 12th International Ascent of Mt. Crnook, which took place on Saturday, August 16, the Bulgarian and Serbian multimedia portal Far.rs said.

The trail started in the village of Dolna Ljubata, 10 km from Bosilegrad, with mountaineers having to cover 11 km one way. Mt. Crnook rises at 1,881 metres above sea level.

This year's ascent was dedicated to Nenad Aleksandrov, a recently deceased young mountaineer from Bosilegrad.

The hike was organized by the Mladost Mountaineering Sports Association and the Bosilegrad Town Hall.
