Sergiy Arabadzhy, a Bessarabian Bulgarian from Chornomorsk, Odesa Oblast, has been killed on the frontlines in Ukraine, the Facebook page of the Chornomorsk Territorial Community announced on Wednesday.

Arabadzhy was laid to rest in the Alley of Glory in his hometown of Chornomorsk.

Since the start of the war, the 43-year-old had served in active combat zones in the Pokrovsk direction.

Born in the village of Zaliznychne in Bolhrad Municipality, Arabadzhy completed his education at the local school. He later relocated to Chornomorsk, where he lived with his family.
