Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation (BRGF) Vice President and three-time world champion Maria Petrova has held open training sessions and has given lectures in the Japanese city of Murayama.

Gymnasts and specialists from all over Japan gathered to participate in various activities, including ballet, a special warm-up routine, a lecture on the history of rhythmic gymnastics and composition creation, 2025-2028 Judges’ Rules, and dance and performance creation.

The city of Murayama and BRGF have had a friendly relationship since the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, where the Bulgarian ensemble won the gold medal. The wholehearted support of the people of Murayama and the rhythmic gymnastics club that was established in the town continues to this day.

Upon leaving for Bulgaria, Maria Petrova, who is also a member of the Technical Committee of the International Gymnastics Federation, received special gifts for the Bulgarian national team. The hosts wished the athletes success at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
