site.bta19th World Meeting of Bulgarian Media Brings Together Journalists from 14 Countries in Ukraine

The nineteenth World Meeting of Bulgarian Media organized by BTA will take place between June 18 and 21 in three cities in Ukraine, Odesa, Bolhrad and Izmail, where there are large Bulgarian communities.

The theme of this year's meeting is "Media and Community" and the event will be held in a hybrid format: on-site and via online video link.

The meeting will be opened at the BTA National Press Club in Odesa by the Agency's Director General Kiril Valchev. Vice President Iliana Iotova will address the participants online. Invitations to the event have been sent to representatives of local administrations, the military, NGO’s, the diplomatic corps, the media, etc.

Journalists from 14 countries, including Bulgaria, will take part in the forum, both in person and online. A total of 23 journalists from 18 Bulgarian-language media around the world will participate in the forum. Representatives of 13 Bulgarian media will also join the discussion.

The three major discussions within the forum will look at the topics of "Bulgarians around the world in the media", "The Knowledge of Kin and Language in Bulgarian Media", and "Science and Universities in Bulgarian Media".
