A talk dedicated to Bulgarian artist Dechko Uzunov's biography, art and legacy took place at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Berlin (Bulgarisches Kulturinstitut in Berlin) on Thursday, the Institute reported. The director of the Sofia City Art Gallery, Adelina Fileva, presented a catalogue that goes with an exhibition of Uzunov's works hosted by the Institute until June 20.

The exhibition organizers praised Fileva for giving a fascinating account of the celebration of Uzunov's centenary in 1999. She spoke about the album Memory and Oblivion released in 2003 and presented the bilingual album Dechko Uzunov published in 2024.

The exhibition entitled Dechko Uzunov: Travel Notes dedicated to the artist's 125th anniversary was unveiled on May 24. It features sketches made with pencil, pen and felt tip pen, many of which were later used to create larger drawing, watercolours and oil paintings.
