site.btaMarius Kurkinski Presents His One-Man Show "Nashenets" in Vienna

Bulgarian actor and director Marius Kurkinski will present his one-man show "Nashenets" (“Countryman”) on Friday, June 14, to his compatriots in Vienna, the "Societas Bulgarica" association wrote on Facebook.

The show starts at 6:30 pm at VHS Praterstern, Vienna.

In the performance, Kurkinski impersonates various characters based on works by Bulgarian humorist Chudomir.

Kurkinski recreates the author's typical wit and views on life and society, presented through funny and touching stories. What would this world of difficulties, conundrums, ambitions and anxieties be without the life-giving breeze of humour? Many of Chudomir's stories are constructed as dialogue or monologue. It is no coincidence this palette of characters is united under the title “countrymen” as they are representative of Bulgarian culture and way of thinking, Kurkinski’s team said.
