site.btaFirst Edition of Photography Plein Air in Bosilegrad Ends

A photography plein air ended in Bosilegrad on Saturday evening. Local people were introduced to the works of professional photographers Asen Velikov, Vladislav Chanev and Vihren Georgiev. The event, entitled "Bosilegrad Before and Now", was organized by the GLAS Association Bosilegrad on money raised during its 10th fundraiser.

The photos showed the lifestyle of ordinary people in the Bosilegrad area, old houses, nature, cultural and historical landmarks. The villages of Gorna and Dolna Lisina, Bistar, Brankovci, Mlekominci and Izvor were visited during the event. The folk costumes of Bosilegrad attracted a great interest and featured in a photo session with boys and girls from the local sports school.

Every evening, a workshop brought together the participants, invited guests and fans of photography in Bosilegrad.

The organizers are planning to show the best photos in an exhibition in the town, which could travel to other places in Serbia, Bulgaria and the region at a later stage.
