site.btaOdesa Province Governor Says Three Killed in Russian Attack
Odesa Province Governor Oleh Kiper said on Telegram that three people were killed in Odesa in a Russian attack on the night to Friday. He condoled with the bereaved families.
The enemy attacked Odesa and the province with Shahed 131/136 drones and X-31P and X-22 missiles.
Kiper wrote: "Our air defence force downed nine drones. One of the drones fell on a civilian enterprise in the coastal area of the city of Odesa. A fire broke out. The bodies of three people were found under the rubble."
Odesa Province is home to the third largest community of expatriate Bulgarians, numbering more than 150,000 people, according to an official population census in Ukraine in 2001. Between 50,000 and 60,000 Bulgarians live in the provincial capital Odesa. Bulgarians in the province are concentrated in the districts of Bolhrad, Izmail and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi.
