The BTA National Press Club in Kardzhali opened on January 18, 2023, in the presence of representatives of the state and local authorities, heads of various institutions, journalists and friends of the news agency.
The official opening took place after almost half a century of BTA presence in this town in the Rhodope mountain.
"The press club will be a place where various points of view will be heard, just like the other BTA national press clubs are," said BTA Director General Kiril Valchev. "Apart from a BTA office and a venue for press conferences, this will also be a place for various events, trainings and meetings of journalists," Valchev added.
