site.btaSupreme Judicial Council Makes Nomination for National Expert at OLAF

The Judges Chamber of the Supreme Judicial Council has approved the nomination of Svetoslav Spassenov, a judge of the Sofia District Court, for secondment to the position of national expert at OLAF, the European anti-fraud agency, said the Supreme Judicial Council Tuesday.

The nomination will be sent to the Foreign Ministry to be forwarded to the European Commission according to the established procedure.

The decision followed an announcement by the European Commission for three vacancies for seconded national experts to the DG JUST, OLAF and the Legal Service of the Commission. Only one application was received at the Supreme Judicial Council for the OLAF position before the expiration of the deadline.
