Bulgaria's highest ranked male tennis player Grigor Dimitrov advanced to the to the last 16 of the ATP 1000 tournament in Rome on Sunday.

In the third round of the event, the Bulgarian, who is currently ranked at No. 10, won in straight sets, 7-6 (3), 6-3, against qualifier Terence Atmane of France.

In the fourth round of the event, the Bulgarian will face the winner of the match between Americans Taylor Fritz (No. 11 seed) and Sebastian Korda (No. 24 seed).
