Bulgaria's Aleksandar Nikolov was recognized as the most valuable volleyball player of December in Italy's SuperLega. He won the award with his effective play for the team of Cucine Lube Civitanova, which also brought him the award for best player of the game twice that month.
Nikolov will be presented with the award by Civitanova President Simona Sileoni at the game against Allianz Milano on January 21.
