site.btaBulgarian Women's Team Wins Silver Medal at World Kickboxing Championships

The Bulgarian women's team won silver medals at the World Kickboxing Championships in the Portuguese city of Albufeira on Saturday. 

The Bulgarians came second in the point fighting discipline. The team consisting of Kalina Boyadzhieva, Kristina Nikolova, Alexandra Georgieva and Kalina Koleva defeated successively the representatives of Mexico, Ireland and Italy, thus reaching the final. In the series for the team title Bulgaria lost to UK by only three points - 13:16.

Thus Bulgaria ended its most successful World Kickboxing Championships, finishing with 6 world titles, 4 silver medals and 10 bronzes.
