Between January and June 2025, electricity prices for non-domestic customers - including all taxes, fees, VAT, and state compensation - dropped compared to July-December 2024, except for the smallest non-domestic consumers, with annual consumption below 20 megawatt hours (MWh), who saw a 6.9% increase. The sharpest decline, 17.5%, was registered among customers consuming more than 150,000 MWh, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Tuesday.

Over the same period, household electricity prices rose across all consumption groups. The largest increase, 7.7%, was recorded among the smallest households, with annual consumption under 1,000 kilowatt hours (kWh).

Natural Gas Prices

In January-June 2025, natural gas prices for non-domestic customers - including all taxes, fees, and VAT - increased across all groups compared to July-December 2024. The largest rise, 18.7%, was observed among customers with annual consumption between 100,000 GJ and 1,000,000 GJ.

Household customers also faced higher natural gas prices in the same period. The biggest increase, 25.7%, was recorded among the largest consumers, with annual consumption above 200 GJ.

According to the NSI, during the same period in 2024 electricity and natural gas prices for non-domestic customers decreased compared to July–December 2023, while trends for household customers were mixed.
