site.btaMinister Gutsanov to Lead Bulgaria's Delegation to International Labour Conference


Labour Minister Borislav Gutsanov will lead the Bulgarian delegation to the 113th session of the International Labour Conference in Geneva, said the Ministry on Thursday. During the forum, representatives of governments and nationally representative workers' and employers' organizations from the 187 member states of the International Labour Organization (ILO) will address a number of topical issues that have a long-term impact on the world of work.
The issues of combating undeclared work and creating new ILO standards will be raised. The fight against undeclared work is among Minister Gutsanov's priorities.
Delegates at the International Labour Conference will also discuss topics related to the platform economy and biohazards in the work environment. The implementation by member states of international labour conventions they have ratified will also be examined.
During his participation in the forum from June 5 to 7, Minister Gutsanov will hold meetings with Austria's Minister of Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection Korinna Schumann and the Director-General of the International Labour Organization Gilbert Houngbo, the statement said.
