Bulgaria's Ministry of Innovation and Growth to Sign Investment-Promoting Memorandum with China's Ministry of Commerce

Active work is underway on the drafting of a memorandum between the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Ministry of Innovation and Growth of Bulgaria for the establishment of an investment cooperation working group. The aim is to sign the document soon. This was announced by the caretaker Deputy Minister of Innovation and Growth Krasimir Yakimov to the attendees at the exhibition of leading Chinese products and services and Bulgarian-Chinese business meetings at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia Thursday. The forum is a highlight in a series of meetings to mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The anniversary is celebrated on October 1.

The Bulgarian Innovation and Growth Ministry sees the memorandum being prepared as a key document for promoting investment in various sectors.

"The purpose of the memorandum is to create a mechanism for communication and a platform for cooperation between the governments. The working group will exchange information on various investment opportunities, legislative initiatives and different policies," Yakimov said.
