The caretaker government and the Finance Minister prioritize higher collectibility of revenue and prevention of the opportunities for customs, insurance, and tax fraud, caretaker Finance Minister Lyudmila Petkova said after a meeting of the National Council for Tripartite Cooperation on Wednesday. She agreed with the idea presented at the meeting for measures preventing abuses of the social system, and said the government commits to develop such measures and move these to Parliament for adoption.

Petkova said that the budget's implementation will be presented at the end of April. Information will be provided to the media and social partners after Easter. For the first time, the report on the Consolidated Fiscal Programme will be published in advance on the Finance Ministry's website.
