The main index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, SOFIX, rose by 0.72% to 803 points at the end of Friday's trading. This is the index's highest closing level since September 2008.
The broad-based index BGBX40 rose 0.56% to 164.37 points. The other stock indices also closed up, with only the beamX index, made up of companies traded on the Beam start-up market, down 0.70% to 98.31 points.
