Bulgaria has seen a 12-year high growth in foreign direct investments. They reached BGN 7 billion between January and November 2023, up by BGN 2 billion from a year earlier, Economy and Industry Minister Bogdan Bogdanov said at a meeting with Flix Group Chief Financial Officer Christoph Debus and Peter Bankov, Director of the company's Global Delivery Center in Sofia. They discussed the German company's plans for development in Bulgaria, Bogdanov's Ministry said.
"Bulgaria is becoming a hub for development in the region. We have a proven engineering capacity and a growing number of companies are interested in establishing R&D and knowledge hubs," said Bogdanov, stressing that Bulgaria is a good place for investment and business development.
Bogdanov and the Flix representatives discussed the company's development in Bulgaria, the expansion of its activities through the Global Delivery Center in Sofia and the hiring of new employees for it.
