The award ceremony of the Manager of the Year 2023 awards is taking place on Thursday at the Sofia Opera and Ballet. BTA is a media partner to the event.
The annual ceremony honouring business executives for the implementation of good management practices is held under the patronage of President Rumen Radev, who arrived with his wife Desislava Radeva. The two were welcomed by Sofia Opera and Ballet Director Plamen Kartaloff. Radev will personally present the Manager of the Year 2023 Award.
A total of 38 senior business executives of leading companies have submitted forms for the main category "Manager of the Year". Ten of them have made it to the final straight after being shortlisted in the first two stages.
The finalists in the 16th edition of the competition were announced at a press conference at the BTA National Press Club in Sofia on September 28.
The winner in the Best New Business category is the company Digital Lights Ltd. The award was received by Dimitar Dimitrov, CEO of the company, and was presented by Nikolay Ivanov, Photomate Regional Manager for Bulgaria.
The winner in the Business in the Top 20 Million category is Inout Trade Ltd (euShipments.com). The award was received by Vichren Bisset, the company's commercial director, and was presented by Ralf Bartoleit, CEO of bTV Media Group in Bulgaria.
The winner in the Business Transformation category was DZI General Insurance EAD, with the Digital Platform for DZI Customers project. The award was received by Kosta Cholakov, Chairman and CEO of the company, and was presented by Reni Mitkova, Managing Director of EOS Matrix, part of the German EOS Group.
The winner in the Team of the Year category is Digital Lights Ltd. The award was received by the CEO, Dimitrov, and was presented by Kartaloff.
